Description: WALT DISNEY'S COMICS AND STORIES #39 (K.K. PUBLICATIONS 1943). Features a very early CARL BARKS DONALD DUCK story in WDC&S. In the story, the boys are trying to sell a dozen egg beaters to earn a "Express Wagon" but have a difficult time. Donald shows the boys how to sell the beaters, but a hermit gives him a hard time as he tries to sell the last one. The Mickey Mouse story by Gottfredson features the last chapter of "Love Trouble". FAIR-GOOD (1.5) condition. This is a complete but low-grade copy of this magazine with bright color and lots of the original luster. The spine shows heavy wear with tape and tears and the cover is detached at the single staple. Some of the interior pages are split a few inches at the bottom of the spine but the single staple does hold all of the pages (centerfold photo provided). There is a subscription line down the center of the cover and an imprint on the back cover. The interior pages look light cream. Shipping is $5.00 to the United States. Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases. I have lots of Golden age, Silver Age and Bronze Age comic books for sale. Please check out my other listings. Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
