Description: You are bidding on this Vtg Matchbook Cover The Recess Club Fisher Building Downtown Detroit Michigan MI This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; the matchbook has had matches removed, striking strip shows wear, there is light rubbing to surface of paper, mild edgewear and associated corner wear, fading with points of blemish to interior base. Overall paper quality is good; smooth/glossy, with good preservation of color/sheen and typography still sharp/clear. There are no excessive rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The matchbook cover measures approx 2" x 4.25" and contains no matches, which was the acceptable guideline for matchbook collecting up until the 1960's and is part of a collection of over 2300 matchbook covers from the 1930's to the 1970's.
