Description: This is a Classic 3-Link Wide Sportster Primary Chain Belt in very good vintage condition. It has the chrome plated and hand painted Flying Eagle Belt Buckle with Chain Edging. Size 34. The belt shows minor wear from age and use. The Buckle and Chain are in very clean and flexible shape. The Primary Chain Belt is stamped with PEER 35 TAIWAN along its edges. The Buckle is made by The Great American Buckle Co. in Chicago and bears their eagle logo on the Back. It is stamped "Copyright 1984", "Made in U.S.A." on the Back with the numbers 54 and CB 1221. The Buckle measures 3 1/4 inches long and 2 inches tall. These belts were probably made for Harley Davidson or Easy Rider Magazine. On the Buckle under the talons of eagle, there is a small amount of black paint worn away. The total belt length is 37 inches. The Chain itself is 34 inches long and 1 1/2 inches tall. The Buckle adds about 2 inches of length. The Chain Belt weighs 2 lbs 43 ounces. Please know your size...this is a Chain Metal Belt. Measure your favorite Belt from where the Prong hits the Buckle to your most comfortable adjustment hole setting. This is your real size.
