That Patent for the Safety Can Opener was applied for 11/7/1944 and granted 12/25/1945. So, this knife most likely was produced during during that short period. Carbon Steel Blades Nickel Bolsters and Bail Brass Pins and liners Black Jigged Composite handle slabs. All blades have good snap and pull with little wobble. Solid little collectible knife. Main blade looks broken or ground on the top side. Use pictures to determine condition
