Description: For sale is this Stanley Bailey No. 6 type 6 smooth bottom plane. It is being sold for parts or restoration. The metal parts have scratches and pitting, and the lever cap has minor chip on the side. This can be seen in the last picture. The handle or tote has a chipped horn. The nice thing though is that all the patent dates are pretty clear, not perfect but pretty nice for the age of this plane. Please look at all 16 pictures for a better idea of condition.
