Description: RC Creations Plated Metal Plant, Orb, Sphere Stand 14" Lotus Flower CenterThis is a very unique piece that I'm really just guessing what it's for, since I can find no other examples. My guess is that it once held a piece of glass that had an end that would sit inside the cup of the lotus flower and be supported by the ring. I'm also guessing that it's probably made of brass that has been plated with nickel. It was a little tarnished when I got it and has been polished. It's solid metal and is heavy, weighing 4 1/2 lbs. The base is also made of metal but is not solid. It's 14" high and 7" in diameter at its widest. The base is 5 1/2" in diameter, the ring is 5" in diameter from outer edge to outer edge. See Pics.
