Description: ORIGINAL VIETNAM WAR ERA U.S. M79 BANDOLIER. I am not sure how to go about dating these bandoliers. I assume they were also manufactured post Vietnam so I will call it "Vietnam War era". The bandolier is made of olive drab cotton with a shoulder sling. It is marked NOE-2-13, the last numbers are smudged. Each side features 3 flaps with snaps that are all in working condition. Inside the bandolier are the 2 plastic inserts (egg crates) used to hold the six 40MM rounds.
