MARBLE'S USA vintage pre-WW2 6-inch blade IDEAL hunting knife, original sheath

Description: Vintage Marble's IDEAL hunter made circa 1920th-1940th in Gladstone, Michigan, USA - a scarce type. Marble's was one of the best US makers of hunting knives since 1898. This IDEAL was made during the "golden era" of Marble's history; it's an excellent quality knife. The knife is about 10-1/4" / 26 cm overall; the blade is about 6" / 15.2 cm; vintage 3-line "roller coaster" logo on ricasso. The blade has been re-sharpened; it's razor-sharp still; the tip is intact. Stacked leather washers with colored fiber-n-brass spacers handle, aluminum pommel & brass half-guard. All parts are tight; the pommel has a tiny bit of a play. Original leather sheath is a bit dry, but it is in great condition overall, considering the age. The leather is soft and supple; original keeper, rivets and stitching.
