Description: I hand-painted this original 5.5 x 8.5 original watercolor painting of the Marshall Point Light House Museum in Port Clyde, Maine. IT IS NOT A PRINT! It was painted on 8/23/24 on 140-lb cold-press, acid-free, watercolor paper. It's a collectible and affordable painting and perfect for Maine lovers! Frame it for yourself or give as a one-of-a-kind gift. TRAVEL TIP: I stayed at Samoset Resort on the coast in Rockport, Maine and drove 20 miles to Port Clyde (St. George) to visit the Marshall Point Lighthouse & Museum. It was late June and spectacular weather. Shasta daisies blanketed the ground along with giant, white peonies flanking the entrance to the museum. Be sure to check museum hours before visiting; it was closed the day I visited. On the way, stop for to-go food at Ancho Honey in Tenant's Harbor, where you'll find good old comfort food (you can burn off the fried chicken on a long trail walk). When you arrive at the lighthouse, you'll see a picnic table. If it's not available, there are plenty of quiet spots to throw a blanket down and have lunch. And, when in Maine, always carry bug spray. I can assure you that you will never forget this bucket list place.
