JULIANA D&E BOOK PIECE 2-PC PARURE: “PETITE LE FLEUR” AQUA BLUE AMBER & GREEN RHINESTONES W BLACK POLKA DOT TINY FLORETSFor your consideration, an exquisitely beautiful 2 piece book piece Juliana demi-parure by Delizza & Elster, D&E. The set includes a pair of cluster earrings and a bib necklace. This design and its variations were first seen in 1960-67. This design is named “petite le fleur” and comprises of beads with tiny dots (that look a bit like sugar) but are actually tiny glass balls fused to the surface of the bead on a black background to form little flowers. The black beads are accentuated by green and aqua blue marquise and amber chaton rhinestones. The necklace fastens with a “J” hook to rhinestone chain link extension chains. The rhinestones are prong set in closed back collet. The earrings fasten with paddle shaped clip backs.DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT: All measurements are approximate and taken at widest/longest points. Necklace ~ 17 ½”L. The “V” shaped pendant area is 2”L x 1”W and weighs 40 gramsEarrings ~ 1 ¼”L x 1”W x ½”H and weighs 7 gramsCondition: The pieces are vintage pre-owned and were purchased from a Juliana collector here in Texas in 1970's. They have been in storage in a dust free and temperature controlled environment since being purchased. They did not come with the original paper tags, however. the pieces are all clean, shiny and look unworn. The gold plating has no tarnish, discoloration or stripping. Dark spots are reflection from my camera. The rhinestone/crystals are well preserved, no darkening, chips, cracks or damage. All the stones are original, and are shiny and sparkly. No missing prongs. The clip backs on the earrings fit snug. Overall, structurally well preserved, and I cannot find any flaw. To reiterate they are in near mint vintage condition, like new and as mentioned before, look unworn. Sorry, l do not have the original tag they came with.
