This part is prone to failure on higher mileage cars or if regular maintenance in not performed. When Haldex pumps fail you may experience loss of power to the rear wheels, reduced traction and grip. Replacing the hydraulic pump can restore your AWD system allowing you to fully utilise the vehicles capabilities again.
