Description: I have been making guitars for 10 years and customized this 1980 Eddie Van Halen bumblebee tour replica It has a custom paint job with the relic features that are based on various photos and review of the actual limited edition fender replica (this is not a limited edition fender replica!). It includes a 1980 Floyd rose as well as the DeMarzio super distortion, Hucker pick up with the black guard rails. The Floyd Rose does not have D-tuna, which was not available until many years later This gives it the authenticity of that era. I believe he had several of this guitar on tour so there are many variations of the guitars that you see in photographs I tried to replicate as much as I could to closely replicate the guitar he played on tour. As many of you know the original one is buried with Dime Bag Darrel of Pantera. There were many headstock variations and neck variations on the time he had these guitars This replica emulates the unfinished smoky coloring of the headstock with light cigarette burns The tonal qualities are excellent and better than any guitar I have ever played, especially when it comes to his style of music. The tone is different, but just as good as the EVH Wolfgang USA Signature series edition that I have listed as well The action is set up with one step down and 10 gauge strings (although he used seven gauge and eight gauge strings most of the time).
