(Paste stones are around the clasp only.) Fold over style clasp works well and is adorned with an emerald cut rhinestone. Safety chain also works. There is wear to the gold tone on the back of the bracelet. This does have a wire over design, which is shown in the last 2 product photos. -->> A few of the paste stones appear to be a very slightly different shade. I don't know if this was original, or if the item has been repaired in the past.
