Description: This is an original Cattaraugus 225q fighting knife that has had the handle leather redone. Since the original handle shape was thin and caused the knife to be held at an odd angle, I gave this handle a different shape and left a little more leather to fill the hand. The blade is in excellent shape. Has some discoloration but is extremely sharp. The photos show some oil on the blade from the new sheath. The last two photos show the new leather next to another original I have. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you.-I added a few more photos in different light because it’s difficult to show the handle shape and blade sheen at night. I added a shot of the pommel as well. I used the original nails.
