The black matting in this frame is decorated with silk flowers , gold thread, and gold sequins that surround the photograph of the baby. I believe this picture frame and the black matting with floral surround were done as an "in memoriam" for the child shown in the photo. The very ornate floral design, gesso and gold gilt wooden frame measures 24 inches tall and 20 inches wide. The frame interior dimensions are 19.5 inches by 15.25 inches.
