The mount is typically needed if you want to install UI bullet cameras under an eave and need to point the camera further upwards than the camera allows. This mount will allow you to install the camera onto an electrical 4" round box. The kit includes the mount, a 3d printed gasket, 4 screw covers, and 2 screws to secure the camera to the mount. The screws to secure the mount to the box are not part of the kit and usually come with the box or are easily available at the hardware store. I purchased 4 of these, and ended up changing my install plans so my loss, is your gain.
